Friends of the Library, Calcasieu, are parish residents who work together to support the Calcasieu Parish Public Library, including all branches and Library To-Go, in enhancing service to the community.
We work to enhance and promote the use and enjoyment of the Library, while sponsoring special programs and activities. We provide supplemental funding and actively support the Library’s policies and procedures. Our funding comes from memberships and contributions. We believe the Library is a vital hub for communication that plays a key role in the quality and advancement of lifelong learning.
