Dr. Dogs Therapy Group is here the first Thursday of every month with trained therapy dogs!
Dr. Dogs Therapy Group is back to bring in trained therapy dogs for children to read to. Children can practice their reading skills in a non-judgmental environment and make friends with both people and dogs.
The Central Branch is in South Lake Charles and is the library system's main branch.
The location houses both the Central Branch and the library's administrative offices.
The following are just some of the services offered in the branch. These include a dedicated teen room with study tables and lounge furniture, public computers, laptops that can be checked out and used in the library, self-checkout stations, faxing, scanning, and printing services, study rooms, and a conference room.
