Mardi Gras is just around the corner! Make your own Mardi Gras mask at Martin Luther King Rec Center with the help of Epps Memorial Library. Decorate a papier-mâché mask with friends and family in a relaxing, educational environment. 

The Martin Luther King Rec Center is located at 2009 N Simmons St, Lake Charles, LA 70601.

Mark Your Calendars! The newly renovated 7,000 sq. ft. Epps Memorial Branch will reopen at 1320 N. Simmons Street on Monday, October 13th. The space will include areas for books, reading, studying, events, and fostering community connections.

To prepare for the reopening, the temporary branch at the Donald Ray Stevens Community Center has closed as of Tuesday, Oct. 7th.
