It's Drop Everything and Read Day, and while we will certainly share stories about glorious Spring, we will also take a moment to look up at the sky and all around us to enjoy nature's beauty.
Let's find shapes in the clouds, smell the roses, and appreciate books about Spring as the season awakens in all its glory! Weather permitting, we will spend some time on the library grounds.

In 2020, the Fontenot Memorial Branch, named in honor of the late Jimmy Lee Fontenot of Vinton was damaged during the two hurricanes. Prior to 2020, the former Capital One building on Loree St. was purchased with plans to open a new Vinton Branch.
On Oct. 24, 2022, the new branch opened! In addition to offering the same services as the old location, this branch offers our first-ever drive-thru and gaming PCs, as well as a study room, a conference room, and a community room.
