This is a history program that focuses on how African Americans travelled in the era of Jim Crow compared and how their experiences have changed.

Join us as we discuss changes in how African Americans travelled since the Jim Crow and Civil Rights eras. In this program, we will watch informational videos, read and review excerpts from books and discuss.  Bring your memories and share your experiences of what it was like to travel in the Civil Rights era. We will be discussing the book, Driving While Black by Gretchen Sorin.
