Join Central Library as we share stories, lead songs, rhymes, and fingerplays designed to develop and grow early literacy skills. We will share stories for 20-30 minutes, then have toys and activities for 20 minutes for the children to interact with others and to give the parents time to visit.
The Central Branch is in South Lake Charles and is the library system's main branch.
The location houses both the Central Branch and the library's administrative offices.
This location offers various seating locations throughout the building, public computers, laptops that can be checked out and used in the library, self-checkout stations, faxing, scanning, and printing services, study rooms, and several large sized community rooms.
