Come and join the Library as we take part in the fun at this year's Bookworm Bay Festival! Visit our table for a chance to check out books, spin our prize wheel, and sign up for your very own library card!

Join us for the Bookworm Bay Festival on February 8, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Brickhouse Catering and Events (110 W Pine St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). This FREE community event is a celebration of all things bookish, set against the enchanting backdrop of a pirate and mermaid-themed festival.

Event Highlights:

• Meet Authors: Engage with children’s, YA, and adult authors, discover new books, and get your favorites signed.
• Family Fun: Enjoy child-friendly activities, including dunk tanks, pirate fights, and interactive storytelling sessions.
• Themed Entertainment: Experience the magic with live performances, costume contests, and more.

Dress up in your best pirate or mermaid attire and dive into a day filled with stories, adventure, and community spirit. We can’t wait to see you there!
