Come by the Vinton library and bring a stuffed-animal friend for a special teddy bear sleepover. Together you will craft, sing, and read stories before tucking in your stuffed buddies for the night.
Bring one of your favorite stuffed-animal friends to our special teddy bear sleepover. Speaking of sleepovers, you can even attend in your pajamas! We will make crafts, celebrate our furry friends, and then sing and read them to sleep before you say goodbye for the night. Don't worry! Your librarians will make sure they have a wonderful time. Return the next day, on Tuesday, November the 19th at 3:30, to pick up your cuddly buddies, and see if they had any adventures during their night away. You might even be surprised!
In 2020, the Fontenot Memorial Branch, named in honor of the late Jimmy Lee Fontenot of Vinton was damaged during the two hurricanes. Prior to 2020, the former Capital One building on Loree St. was purchased with plans to open a new Vinton Branch.
On Oct. 24, 2022, the new branch opened! In addition to offering the same services as the old location, this branch offers our first-ever drive-thru and gaming PCs, as well as a study room, a conference room, and a community room.
