This month, Vinton's Adult Book Club will enjoy refreshments and discuss the unique and suspenseful thriller "Night Will Find You” by Julia Heaberlin. In this novel, Vivvy uses her psychic abilities to help a Fort Worth cop solve a missing girl case. However, a true crime podcast starts spreading conspiracy theories about the case and muddled truths about Vivvy’s murky past.
In 2020, the Fontenot Memorial Branch, named in honor of the late Jimmy Lee Fontenot of Vinton was damaged during the two hurricanes. Prior to 2020, the former Capital One building on Loree St. was purchased with plans to open a new Vinton Branch.
On Oct. 24, 2022, the new branch opened! In addition to offering the same services as the old location, this branch offers our first-ever drive-thru and gaming PCs, as well as a study room, a conference room, and a community room.
