Join us each week for stories, songs, movement, and playful activities designed to support early literacy for children ages 0-5. With a focus on "read, sing, talk, write, play," little learners build vocabulary and social-emotional skills while caregivers pick up tips they can use at home.

Spend the morning moving with us at the DeQuincy Library, where we will be learning adjustable, gentle exercises through chair yoga! If this is your first time doing any yoga, no worries; each session is designed to be beginner-friendly for those new to yoga.

Looking for a fun and creative way to store your earrings? Join us as we make mushroom-shaped earring holders from air-dry clay! Participants will mold and paint their designs inspired by toadstools, the classic, colorful mushrooms often found in fairy tales.

Fri, May 29, 2:00pm - 4:00pm
It's family matinee time at the DeQuincy Branch! Enjoy a movie afternoon with robot-themed snacks like "nuts and bolts" made from cereal and pretzels. Before the movie, get hands-on by building your own dirt cup (a pudding cup with cookies and gummy worms). Registration is required.

Give your old t-shirts a second life! Join us to make an easy hanging plant holder using recycled yarn and fabric. We'll keep it simple with beginner-friendly knots and pre-cut materials. Feel free to bring an old t-shirt to upcycle, enjoy some coffee, and add beads to personalize your creation!
