EXECUTIVE ORDERS AND CDC GUIDELINES

There is no executive order in place in Louisiana. Here's a link to the CDC’s recommendations on how to prevent getting sick.

  • All library facilities continue to be sanitized per CDC guidelines for the public’s safety.
  • We're following CDC guidelines, as well as procedures from the Police Jury on how to keep our community members safe.
  • Guidelines include the installation of sneeze guards at all service desks, the use of EPA-registered household disinfectants to clean all surfaces, rearrangement of library furniture to allow for appropriate space for proper social distancing, outside seating where possible, the use of alcohol-based wipes or sprays for electronics.
