It's National Poetry Month! Are you always interested in poetry, but don't know where to begin? Join us to try these simple and fun ways to jump start your poetry journey Tuesday April 11th at 6pm.
If you have favorite poems, you can bring printouts or copies of them. But if not, we got you covered. Learn how to cut out different pieces of different poems and put them together to create your own, as well as how to highlight bits that speak to you from a longer piece while blacking everything else out. Note: no books are harmed in the making of these poems. Let's celebrate National Poetry Month together! 6th-12th grade only.
The Sulphur Regional Branch features a brick sculpture of historic figures and moments from Sulphur's history in the lobby. This location also offers meeting rooms of various sizes, study rooms, and public computers.
