Let's get together to Reach Out and Read. It's a Dr. Seuss party, and you are invited! The Lake Charles Rotary Club is sponsoring books for children along with a variety of activities, photo opportunities, story time, and refreshments. There might even be a Cat with a Hat on the loose!
Mark Your Calendars! The newly renovated 7,000 sq. ft. Epps Memorial Branch will reopen at 1320 N. Simmons Street on Monday, October 13th. The space will include areas for books, reading, studying, events, and fostering community connections.
To prepare for the reopening, the temporary branch at the Donald Ray Stevens Community Center has closed as of Tuesday, Oct. 7th.
