Beginning any sketchbook can be intimidating. To help young artists take that first step, DeQuincy Library is hosting a beginner-friendly sketchbook drawing session. Any teens interested- regardless of skill level- are free to join.
Sketchbooks and supplies are provided in this program. However, teens who join may bring their own supplies and sketchbooks if desired.
This location offers a welcoming space with a children’s area, teen zone, public computers, a collection of popular materials, and a Create & Make space. Patrons can enjoy programs for all ages and convenient services like meeting rooms and a drive-thru pickup service. Parking is available on the East side across the street from the building.
