Join us for our first family story time of the Summer! To celebrate our theme, "All Together Now," we will salute famous friendships in children's stories with enjoyable activities for all ages.

The whole family is invited to walk down memory lane as we celebrate memorable friendships in children's literature with games, activities, stories, and songs. You've Got a Friend in Me story time will include crafts like friendship chains and friendship bingo!

About the branch

In 2020, the Fontenot Memorial Branch, named in honor of the late Jimmy Lee Fontenot of Vinton was damaged during the two hurricanes. Prior to 2020, the former Capital One building on Loree St. was purchased with plans to open a new Vinton Branch.

On Oct. 24, 2022, the new branch opened! In addition to offering the same services as the old location, this branch offers our first-ever drive-thru and gaming PCs, as well as a study room, a conference room, and a community room.
