We spoke both Spanish and English at home, although I spoke mostly Spanish to my other relatives," says Medina. Her growing list of awards includes a Newbery Award for Merci Suarez Changes Gears, part of the Suarez family trilogy. Books will be available for purchase and signing by Ambassador Medina.
