Everything is sprouting and covered in lush green as Spring makes its grand entrance. For this month's STEAM we will propagate plants, and name a plant mascot to display in the community room.
Let's propagate some plants! To celebrate Spring's arrival, we will dig in and unveil a special mascot plant we will display in the community room. No one will leave empty handed!
In 2020, the Fontenot Memorial Branch, named in honor of the late Jimmy Lee Fontenot of Vinton was damaged during the two hurricanes. Prior to 2020, the former Capital One building on Loree St. was purchased with plans to open a new Vinton Branch.
On Oct. 24, 2022, the new branch opened! In addition to offering the same services as the old location, this branch offers our first-ever drive-thru and gaming PCs, as well as a study room, a conference room, and a community room.
