We are ramping up this month's STEAM club! Join us to build and test your ramps created out of various materials like Legos, magnetic tiles, and tinker toys!
The wheels will be turning this STEAM. Create ramps designed for big jumps, momentum, and see what designs can go the distance. We will have an assortment of materials to build form including Legos, tinker toys, and magnetic tiles.
In 2020, the Fontenot Memorial Branch, named in honor of the late Jimmy Lee Fontenot of Vinton was damaged during the two hurricanes. Prior to 2020, the former Capital One building on Loree St. was purchased with plans to open a new Vinton Branch.
On Oct. 24, 2022, the new branch opened! In addition to offering the same services as the old location, this branch offers our first-ever drive-thru and gaming PCs, as well as a study room, a conference room, and a community room.
