Teens (13-17) share anime and manga interests with other teens every Tuesday at Central Library from 4p-5:30p. Meet us in the YA room!
Teens ages 13-17 are invited each week to watch, discuss, and participate in activities featuring their favorite anime and manga! Past activities have included anime-themed escape rooms, trivia contests, formal debates, painting/drawing sessions, and cosplay activities. No registrations required; new walk-ins welcome!
Anime watched and topics discussed are intended for teens +13 and older.
The Central Branch is in South Lake Charles and is the library system's main branch.
The location houses both the Central Branch and the library's administrative offices.
The following are just some of the services offered in the branch. These include a dedicated teen room with study tables and lounge furniture, public computers, laptops that can be checked out and used in the library, self-checkout stations, faxing, scanning, and printing services, study rooms, and a conference room.
