This month, Vinton's Adult Book Club will enjoy refreshments and discuss the contemporary family fiction “Things I Wish I Told My Mother” by Susan Patterson. In this novel, Laurie and her mother, Dr. Liz couldn’t be more different. When the nomadic artist and the elegant perfectionist travel to dream destinations Paris and Norway, they connect like they never have before.

Opened on October 24, 2022, this location carries forward the services of the former Fontenot Memorial Branch, named in honor of the late Jimmy Lee Fontenot of Vinton. The facility offers a popular materials collection, a drive‑thru window, gaming PCs, a study room, a conference room, and a community room.
