This month, Vinton's Adult Book Club will enjoy refreshments and discuss the contemporary family fiction “Things I Wish I Told My Mother” by Susan Patterson. In this novel, Laurie and her mother, Dr. Liz couldn’t be more different. This branch, which opened on Oct. 24, 2022, offers the same services as the previous Fontenot Memorial Branch, named for the late Jimmy Lee Fontenot of Vinton. This branch offers a drive-thru, gaming PCs, a study room, conference room, and community room.
