We invite you to join the library for Harbor Hospice's 6th Annual Butterfly Release! Enjoy a family day with free admission, crafts, and many kid-focused activities. One of the day's highlights includes a heartwarming butterfly release, a touching tribute to the cherished memories of our loved ones. The event will be held at the Arcade Amphitheatre at the Lake Charles Event Center, and the time of the butterfly release will be 1 pm.
Since 2016, the Maplewood Outreach Center has served as the hub for Outreach Services and Library To-Go—our delivery program for homebound individuals. Those unable to visit a library due to age, illness, or disability can apply to have books, movies, and more brought directly to their door by a friendly staff member. We're proud to serve patrons with temporary or permanent disabilities across the parish.
